Davao Volkswagen Club, Inc., also known as “Dabawagen” is a non-profit organization in Davao City Philippines consisting of people from different walks of life who has one thing in common: the love for classic Volkswagen. The club was formerly Club Vee Dub Davao, which started since 2004, and on February 18, 2018, during the General Assembly meeting at Las Terazas Maa Davao City, the majority of the active an inactive members decided to register the club under a new name: Davao Volkswagen Club. Since then, the club was actively participating local events in the city, supporting civic and social activities in the area, and also promoting tourist sites around Mindanao area by long distance Bug Runs.
The club aims to encourage fellow classic car owners and clubs to be motivated in restoring their units and help spread valuable information to augment the knowledge and beauty of the vintage Volkswagen.
